- מְרוּצָהI f. (b. h.; רוּץ) running. Yalk. Gen. 109 הכיר בו שמְרוּצָתוֹ לרעה (some ed. שמְרִיצָ׳) he (Eliezer) recognized that his (Labans) running was for evil. Midr. Till. to Ps. 43 ed. Bub. היה רץ … במ׳ would run after the horse in speed.
